It’s that time of year. I’ve come to the sad reality that I am, once again, not attending the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival this season. For those of you who might not have the slightest clue what I am referring too, Coachella is an annual music + art festival in Indio, California which essentially is a playground for music lovers to enjoy the variation of sounds ranging from indie, to hip-hop, & EDM. There’s apparently a ton of main and side stages, in addition to a considerable amount of both authentic and original, dope art structures.
While I’m sure there’s a heavy dose of “hipster” clones running around in daisy headbands and Levi cut-off’s, one cannot deny the insane amount of authentic, creative energy throughout the festival’s run. A handful of the artists included in this years lineup are listed: Action Bronson, Nero, Ab-Soul, Tyler the Creator, Alesso, Drake, Kaskade, David Guetta, Raekwon + Ghostface Killah.
While I can pick so many worthy thangs to write about in relation to Coachella and all it has to offer, I absolutely have got to dedicate a post to my #WCE, Kylie Jenner. I’m convinced I keep up with Kylie more than I keep up with my own life. I’m all for experimenting with your image and taking style risks. Her transition to this bright turquoise, mermaid hair is everything! The matching blue acrylics? Everything. She’s got balls and I applaud the vibrant route she’s decided to take for festival season! Her lips are still larger than life but I’m going to go ahead and side step that discussion.. *files acrylics*
I personally found her choice in threads to be not only incredibly appropriate for the event, but also, true in the sense that she didn’t stray away from her normal style sense! The style that so many of us have become so obsessed with. Ok, I can speak for myself here. That I’VE become obsessed with. I’m definitely excited to see what she’ll be sporting next weekend!
